Funky doris is a Norwegian label, launched by Tove Trydal and Grethe Bjørk in 2013. We create contemporary designs with a personal twist rooted in our scandinavian design traditions. Our aim is to make charming everyday products in long-lasting qualities. We love colors and simple aesthetic from our nordic design history.
Color is key to a happy home! our new range of funky designs is made with passion for whimsical geometrical shapes and lots of colors to mix. Our patterns are well cordinated, so you can mix and match pillows and blankets to achieve your own funky pastel heaven.
We like it when the home has character and reflects the people living there. And of course the best way to do so is to fill it with silly jokes, laughter. and cosy blankets and pillows.
Our products are imported to us, and we make sure to work with skilled crafts people. All our designs are made with respect for people and nature. We have personally visited all our suppliers.
Our design philosophy is simple. We simply want to sorround ourself with charming everyday products in qualities that last. Our style is uncomplicated, warm and humorous. We say like Pablo Picasso:

Tove
Worked as a designer, design manager and marketing manager at Høye over a period of ten years. Later she worked as a designer for nordic form and designed bedding, blankets, pillows, curtains and porcelain for Turiform and Borås cotton.
